It's snow time!

Campus is open

We hope you all had fun in the snow yesterday. The snowball fights could be heard in the Ilam community and no doubt in many other places throughout the city. It was back to business today, Tuesday, with both Ilam and Dovedale sites re-opened at 11am.

Due to icy conditions on campus and around the city, and limited public transport options after 7pm, all libraries on campus will be closing at 6pm tonight, Tuesday. 24 hour computer workrooms will remain open. View available computer workrooms.

Have a voice

Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA) Chief Executive Roger Sutton told students in the AFT on Friday that social space is a high priority. He shouted burgers and in return asked students to speak up – how easy is that!

Mr Sutton emphasised how important it is for youth to have a say in the rebuild of Christchurch because the future of our children’s children is in our hands.

During August you will be asked to give feedback on the recovery of your University. It is important that you tell us what counts the most when it comes to the future of UC. Watch out for more Shape UC messages soon to find out how you can have your say.
